Portugal between Hitler and Churchill

Portugal, 1939-1945.

While the world is torn apart by World War II, Portugal remains neutral. But a silent war is being fought behind the scenes: the propaganda war, which both sides practice with the collaboration of many Portuguese.

This book describes this conflict, observing in detail the Nazi and allied propaganda in newspapers and magazines, on the radio and in the cinema, in leaflets and pamphlets that tried to entice the Portuguese. An unknown and clandestine nation thus appears before us. And in the end… who won this silent war?
